Women/Girls Classes

Silat Girls/Women’s Silat classes provide a specialized and nurturing environment tailored specifically for females to learn and excel in Silat. These classes are designed to offer a comfortable and focused setting where each student can develop her skills in martial arts. The class is exclusive to girls, ensuring that they receive the attention and support necessary to thrive in their training. Participants not only learn the techniques and discipline ofs Silat but also build confidence and strength in a supportive, female-students-only atmosphere.

Sara Saleem, affectionately known as Kak Sara, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her teaching. She has been studying Silat for over nine years and has competed in multiple international tournaments. Notably, she won a silver medal in Tanding (fighting) and placed third in Tunggal (forms) at the prestigious Middle East Pencak Silat Championships. Her achievements and dedication inspire her students to strive for excellence both in and out of the Silat studio. Kak Sarina another assistant instructor has over six years of dedicated Silat training, and an impressive record of winning at various Open tournaments. Additionally, head instructor Abdul-Malik Ahmad may be present to ensure the quality of training and instruction, further enhancing the learning experience.

Our Silat girls are not only confident but also competitive, consistently winning gold medals at multiple martial arts tournaments across the area. This includes a unique all-female tournament that happens every year, highlighting the prowess and skill of our students. We encourage our students to be active, proud, and confident in their martial arts skills, which translates into being prepared and resilient in any self-defense situation.
